One thing you can do to make it all a little easier is to sync your Facebook and Twitter accounts. That means if you update your Facebook status it will automatically update your twitter status with the same words. Similarly, if you update your twitter account, your Facebook status will be also updated. No need to update Facebook & Twitter account individually.

To sync Facebook & Twitter account you need to add a Facebook application. Now, let me show how to do it.

1. First, login to your Facebook account.

2. Go To Twitter Apps Page

3. Click on “Go To Application”

4. Allow Twitter to access your profile.

5. Log in to your Twitter account (via the Twitter application inside Facebook).

Now your Facebook messages will also show up in Twitter! But there’s one more step to send information from Twitter back to Facebook.

6. After you test out the Facebook to Twitter functionality by typing a message and clicking on “Update” click on “Allow Twitter to Update Your Facebook Status”

7. Allow status update from Twitter back to Facebook.

8. Check to see if it works, by logging into twitter.com from a different browser window and entering a status .

If everything is ok then the sync will work perfectly. Now you need not to manage status updates both for Facebook & Twitter individually. Just update anyone and get other updated.

There is another way to update social media status by using third party service like ping.fm. It will update not only Facebook & Twitter , also number of social sites that we regularly used with same words and same time without logging in there.
