If you already read my post on which I discussed about importance of keyword research for each blog post, you may now realize how important keyword research is. Usually, people do keyword research with Google Adword keyword tool as it is a free tool. Some people also use paid services like Wordtracker keyword research tool.
On my last post I shared my experience with a new Firefox add on named ” SEO Blogger “, a keyword research tool. It’s a mini version of Wordtracker’s keyword research tool that allow you to do keyword research without leaving your blog post editing page.
Now, here I will show you how SEO Blogger makes it easy to perform keyword research and how it helps you to quickly optimize a page you are working on .
At first download SEO Blogger and install. You need to Click on “Install SEO Blogger“. A notification will appear telling that Wordtracker wants to open a popup. Agree to this to get the Firefox extension.

Now restart your browser to let the extension work properly. After completing installation, you will see a small ‘W’ icon in your status bar at the bottom right of your Firefox window.
Click the ‘W’ and SEO Blogger opens up in a sidebar within your Firefox browser.

Suppose you want to write a post on “keyword research“. Open SEO Blogger , Enter a ’seed’ word (here “keyword research”) and hit search. (A seed word is a single word or phrase related to your post.) A list of suggested keywords will appear.
Now, you will see that the phrase “keyword research” is searched for 1,014 times. There are also other phrases like keyword research tool, effective keyword research, free keyword research and so on.
Save any keywords you’re interested in by hitting the little “Add” links next to the phrases. This stores them in the bottom box just so you remember for later.

Now you have a list of keyword phrases you can optimize your post for. Select the most important phrase and put it in your article’s ‘page title tag’, on-page headline and description tag. If possible use the other suggested keywords In your content body.
SEO Blogger will make a count of the number of times you use the keywords you have saved in the ‘Your chosen keywords’ list.
