Twitter, a great micro blogging platform is also a great online marketing tool. Normally, pro blogger tweet their blog post and if you are a blogger most probably you also do it. You know, Twitter is a stand alone tool to promote blogging business by tweeting blog post or updates.
Most of the bloggers or publishers earlier used twitterfeed.com for posting automated RSS feeds to twitter. But over time twitterfeed.com become slow as more & more people began to use it.
I personally used “WP 2 Tweet” a wordpress plug-in to tweet my posts. Few days ago, Google announced its arrival into the market of URL shortner and to promote it they combine Feedburner & Twitter.
Recently , I deactivated “WP 2 Tweet” and started using Feedburner to tweet my posts.
How you can do it:
1. Login at the Feedburner .
2. Select the feed that you want to publish.
3. Click on the Publicize tab.
4. After that, click on the Socialize option, from the services menu to the left.

5. Now click on the Add a Twitter Account button to add a twitter account to your feedburner account.
6. You will now be redirected to the twitter site. Login, if haven’t done so already. You will be asked to ‘Allow Google access?‘ Click on Allow.
7. Now that you have been redirected, select the twitter account you want your RSS feeds to be published to (only in case you have added multiple twitter accounts only.)
8. You can configure the available options, to your liking and then click on the Activate button at the bottom.
That’s it. Now whenever you post an article on your blog, the moment feedburner gets updated a tweet will be sent to your twitter account.

This is how your tweets will appear
The post URL’s are shortened using google’s all new URL shortener; goo.gl.
