Optimize Feedburner Email Newsletter Subject as Post Title

feedburner logo Which Email Newsletter service do you use for your readers to be subscribed on your blog or site? Most probably it may be Feedburner , mostly used as it is free .Again if you are a rich one it could be Feedblitz , aweber, mailchimp .

If you are in blogging business or any types of publication business, you are surely agree with me that you must have one of them. Excuse me, if you are already using Feedburner then skip the next paragraph. I wan to say something about Feedburner to them who are not familiar with it.

FeedBurner is a web feed management provider launched in 2004. FeedBurner provides custom RSS feeds and management tools to bloggers, podcasters, and other web-based content publishers. On June 3, 2007, FeedBurner was acquired by Google Inc., for a rumored price of $100 million. Feedburner is not the only service, there are many free & paid Newsletter services out there.If you are planning to start blogging business, you must have one of them.

However, I personally use Feedburner for my blogging business which email my subscribers whenever I posted something for the day. Although Google’s Feedburner is the mostly used service of its kind but there are some limitations also. When feedblitz allows you to use article topic as the email subject, Feedburner allows to set a static subject which can be “New blog post From ElectronicWoirkshop”.

But recently Feedburner has started to allow people to set their Newsletter subject as post title. Really, it’s a good initiative that will help pro bloggers to optimize their blogging business.

Now Lets know how to make the changes, here’s what you need to do -

1. Login to your Feedburner account.
2. Click on the Feed Title to access the Feed Stats Dashboard
3. Click the Publicize tab
4. Click the Email Subscriptions
5. Click Email Branding
6. At the Email Subject/Title, use the tag ${latestItemTitle}. Do take note that there are no spaces in between the 3 words. You can insert anything before and after the tag.
7. Click Save button.
