Normally, majority of us take screenshot of any web pages by pressing the “Print Screen” button. But it can capture only the visible portion of the web page.
On my last post, I introduced a Firefox add on to capture full page screenshot with Pearl Crescent Page Saver. Page Saver is available in two editions. The Basic one is free but the Pro version costs $15.There are some difference between the two versions in terms of facility. Such as, both version allow you to capture full screenshot of any web page but if you need to capture any specific area you can do it with the Pro version.
Recently , I found another free Firefox add on that allow to take screenshot of draggable specific area which option is available on Page saver pro version. So, I am getting this facility for free with “ScreenGrab“, the Firefox add on which is mentioned in the title.
Basically Screengrab! let’s you take what you want from a web-page: the entire scrollable document, just the visible bit, or a draggable selection. Screengrab will even save just the contents of an individual frame.
It can capture any Java or Flash embedded in a page, but to do this it requires Java to be installed in the browser. The image file is saved as JPG or PNG.
The plugin is available at the Firefox’s plugins/add-ons directory, https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1146
Install Screengrab addon . If you are not familiar with Firefox add on installation read my previous post where I showed with screenshot how to install Pearl Crescent Page Saver.
After restarting Firefox, ScreenGrab is now ready to go.
How to use Screengrab:
Navigate to the website that you want to take a screenshot of. Once it has completely loaded, right-click anywhere on the page.
A menu will pop up, and at the very bottom, you should see “ScreenGrab” as the last option. You have a few different ways to take a screenshot with ScreenGrab:

You can also take a screenshot by using the quick menu located at the lower right corner of Firefox window.

Please compare the two Firefox add on to capture full screenshot or visible area screenshot in comment field. In your openion which one is better?
